About Us

White Lodge enables those with disabilities, their families, and their carers to lead fulfilling lives.

Supporting over 2,500 individuals across the country, we offer a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.

Our wonderful site in Chertsey houses three specialist buildings, each with great facilities and services. These include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, a specialist nursery, hydrotherapy, holiday clubs, personal support in the home, short breaks, fitness and rehabilitation. We also offer many activities such as trips out, art, baking, swimming, and much more!

We are now looking for a Support Worker to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. We will consider job-shares and those seeking part-time hours.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will undertake a range of support activities for the young people using our service.

Working closely with Senior Support Workers and the Registered Manager, you will plan and provide leisure activities and prepare meals and refreshments.

You will teach and assist young people, maintaining respect for them at all times, helping manage their personal hygiene, ensuring they are comfortable, and providing appropriate communication tools.

Additionally, you will:

- Administer medication
- Report any changes or concerns to the Senior Support Worker
- Contribute to risk assessments
- Assist with hoists, frames and manual handling

About You

To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience in previous care setting or role
- IT Skills
- Evidence of CPD
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant field; Childcare, Health, and Social Care.
