- Job Title: Accounts Assistant/ Management Accountant
- Salary: up to £30,000pa
- Location: Cheadle
- Working Hours: 9 am - 5 pm (core hours)
Agility is delighted to be working with a fast-growing IT company seeking for an Accounts Assistant / Management Accountant to join their team.
They are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to support the Finance Director and be responsible for the overall Management Accounts and Sales Ledger function.

What you will be doing:
Management Accounts Responsibilities
- Month end & year end management accounts.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Reporting using large data sets.
- Work with internal managers to ensure financial interactions with suppliers and customers are effective.
- Work with our support team and account managers to ensure products are sold correctly and in line with company practices.
- Creation and maintenance of accounting processes.
Sales Ledger Responsibilities
- Run sales invoices and credit notes.
- Issue statements to customers.
- Credit control including Liaising directly with customers and the sales team, to ensure customers pay within the terms.

- Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines at month end/year end ( holidays to be taken outside of these periods) .
- An interest in technology and automation would be advantageous.
Required Skills
- Sound knowledge of Excel
- Experience of working in an accounts team
- Experience of producing monthly management accounts
- Credit Control experience
Desirable skills
- Experience working in Xero (preferred but not essential)
- Working towards AAT or AAT Qualified
