Job description
Our public sector client is seeking a BI developer to participate in the early stages of establishing a new organization.
The Role
The main responsibility of this role is to create reporting solutions using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI. As a BI developer, you will be considered an expert in Oracle Fusion Cloud technologies, and your knowledge will be crucial in upskilling permanent staff members. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for any issues related to Oracle Cloud.
Main tasks
* Creating reports on Oracle Fusion using OTBI and BI Publisher
* Reviewing current management information and analytics produced by your existing finance and HR systems
* Preparing data needed to support BI solutions
* Developing function and technical specifications for the reports built on Oracle Cloud Please let me know if you need any further help in this regard.
Requirements
* Strong experience with Oracle Cloud
* Experience with SQL scripting skills and the ability to carry out data manipulation
* Understanding of data preparation activities and data modelling preferably within HR and Financing
* Experiencing working closely with external and internal users/organisations
* Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Package
* Remote role - Edinburgh-based office
* Early finish on Fridays
* Inside IR35
