Job description
Bordereaux Technician required for this expanding team
Ensuring all bordereaux are downloaded from repositories and monitoring emails (either sent direct or via a central mailbox), in order to ensure processing is undertaken in a timely manner.
Tracking timely receipt of premium/risk bordereaux for all delegated underwriting arrangements in place including contacting brokers for overdue or missing bordereaux. Escalating to Underwriting Manager or Operations Manager as appropriate where issues arise.
Undertake monthly processing, tracking timeliness of premium/risk bordereaux submissions, and performing subsequent reporting performance of the underlying accounts.
Identifying anomalies within the bordereau will require liaising with the brokers and underwriters, documenting your findings and, if required amending entries in our systems as necessary.
Assisting with the setup of cover holder/binder information onto the inhouse bordereau management system using key details from the slip and ensuring where binders have multiple sections that all this information is uploaded accurately.
Producing portfolio reports in relation to missing/overdue bordereaux and status of bordereaux processing into our systems.
To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role.
Technical Skills
Understanding of the processes and procedures of the Lloyds marketplace.
Knowledge of binding authorities/bordereaux and cleansing/manipulating bordereaux data would be advantageous.
Ability to plan, organise and time manage effectively.
Strong technical skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Collation, analysis and interpretation of data, information and commentary from a range of sources.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
