AWE is currently recruiting for a Business Administration Specialist to co-ordinate and deliver an efficient, effective, timely and reliable business administration/information service that meets our customers' needs.
Location - Reading / Basingstoke Area
Package: Starting from £24,750 (Depending on Experience)

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in business administration? We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic Business Administration team. As a Business Administration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's administrative functions. If you possess good organisational skills, good multitasking abilities, and a passion for supporting business operations, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinating resources to meet short term service delivery objectives
- Setting of priorities via task management
- Planning, allocating and ensuring delivery of tasks within the team
- Provide training and guidance for new starters to the team
- Provide help, advice and guidance to customers on using the services and systems
- Achieving and maintaining high standards of transactional administration services
- Identifying problems and providing solutions within set parameters or escalating if necessary
- Finding ways to continuously improve and exceed customer expectations, making appropriate proposals to management and implementing agreed improvements or changes
- Build good, enduring relationships with stakeholders and team members
- Support management activity to meet business needs
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in Environment, Safety, Health, Security and Quality
- The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs
Requirements:
- Experience as a Business Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good attention to detail and accuracy is paramount
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High level of professionalism and integrity
