Traffic Engineer

Luton (Hybrid working available / 2/3 days per week in the office)

£41,184 - £44,384 + 20.20% Pension + Sick Pay + Holiday + Career Progression + Work/Life Balance

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to join one of the UK's Local Government Organisations in a highly technical and autonomous role offering excellent benefits and career progression.

In this role you will be supporting the Engineering Delivery Team Leader by being my clients specialist lead on traffic management and safety engineering. You will be responsible to lead the development of my client's integrated transport capital programme whilst carrying out investigations of road accidents to identify target areas for action and then oversee the design, safety audit and implementation of safety and traffic management schemes.

The ideal candidate will be experienced Traffic Engineer where you will be working closely with the government to help achieve it's target of reducing road traffic accidents. In this role you will play a key role in providing the professional and specialist advice for the Highway Services.

The Role:

• Preparation, delivery and management of ATS and UTC related traffic management and highway engineering projects
• Analysing and evaluating data, producing complex information and detailed reports on crash and casualty levels
• Hybrid Working

• Experienced Traffic Engineer

• Must have prior experience in a Traffic Engineering role
