Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to deliver high quality Group Exercise classes for Chelmsford City Council’s Riverside Leisure Centre. The successful applicants will work alongside our team of Group Exercise instructors in delivering the high level of customer service our users expect, building attendance and retaining customers.
Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone. Every member of staff plays their role, working within a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. If you are interested in a career in leisure and are passionate about delivering the best customer service, then we have the job for you. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, be confident, outgoing and ideally hold a current Exercise to Music qualification and/or Gym Instructor Level 2 as well as a current related class qualification for example Les Mills Programmes, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Box Fit, Group Cycle, Aqua etc. This position is offered on a casual basis to cover the opening hours of the centre, from 5.30am to 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
