Job description
A local authority based in the Cambridgeshire region is seeking a locum team Paralegal to join the department for a 2 months’ period. This is a temporary role.
The successful candidate must have upwards of 6 months’ knowledge and experience dealing with one or more of the following areas:
Candidate duties will include the following:
Maintain a caseload of routine and some non-routine matters under supervision Provide legal advice to clients in the council’s services Draft, research and analyse legal documents Attend court with counsel on various cases for the legal service team Pay rate is between £20-35 per hour.
The council operate on a hybrid working environment.
The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice. Previous local government legal experience is essential.
