RMS Are working with an outstanding automotive client; we are looking for a Semi-Skilled Technician to join our existing team. Providing vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities for our client, we want you to help us continue delivering our best service.

Location: Grimsby

About the Role:

The role is to support the Workshop Technician to diagnose faults in products and to carry out PDI’s accessory fitments and necessary repairs to ensure vehicles are mechanically sound prior to despatch and that all vehicles comply with the Company’s rules and health and safety regulations and meet client requirements

Working hours:

• 42 hours per week. A 8hr shift pattern Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend working may be required.
• The ideal candidates must have a degree of flexibility to work between 7am-7pm.

About you:

Essential Criteria: 

• All applicants must hold a Valid Drivers license with less than 6 Penalty points and no DR10 Offences.
• Must hold a NVQ Level 2 (Or Equivalent) In light vehicle repair or similar

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within the automotive industry undertaking pre delivery inspections and mechanical tasks
• Possess a “Can Do” attitude and displays flexibility in their approach to work
• Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
• To carry out duties as detailed on job cards to standard operational timescales
• To ensure correct personal protective clothing is work at all times
• Health and Safety Minded.

• £13.00 per hour (Annual Salary of £28,392)
