Position: Business Change Manager

Location: Cardiff (on site 5 days a week)

Day rate: up to £700 per day (outside IR35)

Duration: 6 month contract

Capstone are proud to be working with one of the UK's largest transport operators with over 50 sites across England, Scotland and Wales, who are seeking a Business Transformation Manager.

The purpose of this role is to play a pivotal role in helping to deliver a confidential project for the group. The postholder will work with the customer and understand their requirements (bus leads: finance, engin, marine, ops) in order to drive change. As a Business Change Manager, you will play a critical role in driving organisational change initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies, processes, and strong stakeholder engagement.

About the role:

• Lead and manage change initiatives from initiation through to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, communication strategies and resistance management.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify change impacts, assess readiness, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to foster understanding and buy-in for proposed changes.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future enhancements.
• Provide support to project teams and stakeholders to build change management capabilities and ensure successful adoption of change.

• Ability to successfully lead projects
• Understands how to make projects work
• Pulling together good plans, risk and issues correctly documented
• Strong stakeholder engagement/management and being able to hold people accountable is essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically
• Project management background
