Job description
Our client is a leading Education organisation, based in Tamworth, seeking two Finance Business Partners to join the central Finance team and the CFO on a permanent basis.
As Finance Business Partner, based in Tamworth you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the CFO and Executive group with their Financial management, providing advice on financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis, payroll reconciliation and investment management
- Preparing monthly management accounts including forecasts and variance analysis, identifying financial risks and opportunities including income generation, updating the 5-year budgets where appropriate
- Producing monthly written reports for the Executive Group on the financial performance
- Monitoring and budget planning information for the central team
- Informing the Business Support Manager of any serious concerns about current or future year budgets
- Contributing to the wider financial reports for the Executive team
- Supporting the office staff in maintenance of budget planning software in respect of salary projections
Key requirements for the successful Finance Business Partner are as follows:
- Qualified by experience, Graduate, Qualified, or Part-qualified
- Previous and proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, or relevant Accounting role
- Strong IT Skills - Office 365 (confident using Excel)
- Must drive and have your own car
- Live within a commutable distance to Tamworth
- Experience of setting budgets, forecasting & out turns
- Organise, positively influence, lead, and motivate other staff
- DBS - Enhanced
The successful Finance Business Partner, based in Tamworth will be entitled to the following:
- Permanent contract
- £33,945 - £36,948 per annum
- Full-time hours - 37 hours per week
