The role: NQT
As an NQT year 3 teacher your role will be to prepare and maintain a curriculum, schemes of work and lesson plans for Year 3; teach agreed lessons and produce teaching resources, set homework, mark work, complete assessments, portfolios and pupil monitoring and tracking. Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines. Creating engaging lessons to involve pupils of all abilities, coordinating with colleagues and TAs where needed. For this role you must have QTS or PGCE, experience working in a year 3 class, DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one and be able to work full time.
The school:
This school is based in Brent which supports 324 students, they have a SEN provision and a breakfast and after school club. Teaches around 12 different subjects which includes English and Maths. They have multiple transport links that stop outside the school. In March 2022 they had received a Outstanding Ofsted report which states outstanding on leadership and management, Achievement of pupils, quality of teaching and behaviour and safety of pupils.
