Job description

Our client is seeking to recruit an Analyst - Banking and Insurance.

Overall purpose of the role:

This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to take responsibility for a portfolio of banks, insurers and insurance managers. The role will include undertaking in-depth analysis, of both a quantitative and qualitative nature and direct communication with stakeholders.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

• Assisting with analysis of matters requiring the Client’s approval, consent or comment (changes of control, directors, surrender of licences etc.)
• Analysing periodic returns and financial statements and any other information which might affect their continuing ability to meet licensing criteria.
• Assisting on thematic analysis on firms within the portfolio.

The successful candidate:

Would ideally, although not essentially, have a good working knowledge of banking and/or insurance and be looking for a new challenge.
