Key responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance the firm's VAT services across all locations
- Evaluate current practices and initiate improvements
- Streamline working pcesses for increased efficiency
- Offer practical VAT advice to a wide array of clients
- Tackle various technical tasks, including VAT groupings, partial exemption methods, reviews, and investigations
- Establish connections with internal and external partners, including law firms, banks, and other potential collaborators
- Mentor and train the Corporate tax teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams on transactions
- Participate in business development efforts, such as client presentations and training sessions
- Liaise with HMRC and oversee a blend of compliance and project work.
