Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice with MT Services an IT Services company based in Tamworth.
Job Description:
MT Services have an established support team consisting of 11 members. The workshop engineer is responsible for preparing PC’s, NAS storage & Servers prior to handover to the engineer. Time is shared between the workshop and the support desk.
When on the support desk the Workshop Engineer will be actively working on a 1 st line support basis. This will cover a broad range of technologies providing a great platform for an apprentice to develop their skills.

Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Personal qualities Skills Required:
We are looking for a keen, outgoing candidate with a personality to match who would like to build a career in IT at an established MSP. We would like someone with a good work ethic and a confident personality who can work and communicate well. Familiarity of Microsoft Windows environments is required but you don’t need to be an expert at this point. The initial role for the apprentice will be working in the workshop so this could involve hardware repairs and operating system deployments.
Future prospects:
The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.
