Description
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion
- Coordinate with clients to ensure timely delivery of work
- Review and ensure accuracy of audit work papers
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit methodologies
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations
Profile
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:
- A professional accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA/ICAS
- Proven experience in audit within the professional services industry
- Strong leadership skills and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant audit software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards
