•Excellent salary up to £33,000 DOE

Our client is looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team on a full time basis in the market town of Halesowen. They are a 5 vet practice including surgery certificate holders, supported by 2 RVN's, 2 SVN's and 6 CCA's.

This RCVS accredited practice if fully equipped with the latest technology including dental x-ray, tonopen, x-ray and ultrasound, dentistry, in-house laboratory, small animal medicine and surgery, operating theatre, separate cat and dog wards, haematology and much more. They perform a full range of orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries including TPLO's and BOAS surgeries. The nursing team are all involved in these cases so there are significant opportunities to scrub into theatre.

Some of your key responsibilities will include, working closely with the clinical, non-clinical teams and management to deliver the best levels of patient and customer care, be responsible for lead-ing the nursing team, oversee the running of the day, full participate in the nursing rota, oversee ordering of stock and management of stock control and comply with all policies and procedures within the surgery.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, forward thinking and proactive with strong communication and people skills.

The Role:

•40 hours per week
•1:4 Saturdays (8.45am 6.15pm)
•Weekend rota
•No OOH
