Electrical Controls Engineer for a Global Market Leader in their field of expertise. £40,000 to £55,000
North Manchester Based – excellent access to M62, M60 and M61 motorways. Office based role with quarterly travel in the UK, Europe, and USA.

Do you have experience of designing and building control panels?
Do you have some experience within mechanical engineering?

The successful candidate will be an integral player in the company’s transition to the smart connected products of the future, so you will be part of something that is both exciting and industry leading.
The role will involve:
- Building electrical panels.
- Developing programmable logic controls to operate equipment.
- Creating control enclosure drawings.
- Prototype building.
- Testing and trouble shooting.
- Installing on customer sites throughout the world.
You will need to have a strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic controls, PLC’s, panel design and construction and power distribution will be required together with a good understanding of Ethernet and IP networks.
Ideally this client is seeking to interview candidates in January 2024 to start as soon as possible depending on notice periods.
