JOB DESCRIPTION '' Rail Division Project Manager

General Tidyco' s Rail Division helps support the UK Rail Industry combining new build and maintenance for both Passenger and Freight vehicles. We work closely with Train Builders, Operators and Owners supplying port to port solutions for all on-board train system's including hydrostatic, coolant, fuel, water and air. Our services range from a full vehicle inspection to overhaul of complete piece of equipment to single part re-engineering, offering the customer full peace of mind that our design will increase the length of time between service intervals and in the long term save them money

The Role To support the Rail Divisional Sales Team in what is already a very busy division of Tidyco Ltd with a turnover in excess of £6 million p.a. Working as an essential part of the team, forming an essential link between Tidyco and our customer. The role is to provide the Project Management structure and interfaces required for the successful delivery of projects. This will involve working as the day-to-day interface between Tidyco and our customers. Creating project plans to met the customers requirements, liaising with our production team and providing feedback both internally and externally. This will be a new role within the business so it allows the successful candidate to set-up and mould appropriate structures to ensure success.

Reporting Relationship Reporting to Rail Divisional Director

Main functions '' Understanding customer requirements and turning that into detailed project plans '' Ability to work on multiple projects at once '' Ability to identify and understand project risks and how to mitigate them '' Working with our production team to develop production schedules to meet customer requirements '' Providing a two-way interface between Tidyco and our customers '' day to day enquiries, technical queries etc '' Developing project KPI's '' Leading project review meetings internally and with the customer '' Liaising with the sales team over any commercial requirements '' Leading project start-up team once projects are awarded '' developing specifications, criteria and project

documentation Rail Division Team Support '' Assisting with customer visits '' Maintaining accurate records '' Preparation of internal and external reports and documentation including HSE documentation '' Preparation of reports and KPI graphs Other responsibilities

Working Conditions Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. '' 5:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 to 2.30pm A 30 minute break for lunch is allowed, which should be taken between 12:00pm and 2:00pm. Company car will be provided

PERSON SPECIFICATION 1. Training Must be willing to undertake training, which will be given 2. Experience Knowledge within the Rail Industry would be a significant advantage 3. Skills and knowledge Project Management experience (ideally within the UK rail rolling stock industry) PMP / PRINCE II (or equivalent) desirable It is essential that any applicant be PC/IT literate and able to use standard office programs Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and visitors. Able to demonstrate good customer service skills. Able to demonstrate verbal expression of both written and spoken English. Able and willing to draft reports, emails and other related documentation. Able to demonstrate knowledge of the Internet. 4. Personal Qualities Able and willing to function effectively within a team environment. Able and willing to work to deadlines. Reliable, honest and trustworthy. Responsible and able to work on own initiative. Confident and outgoing in nature. Must be commercially aware.
