A reputable civils contractor has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering.

The contractor specialises in delivering civil engineering projects and frameworks - including infrastructure, highways, water, rail, structures, public realm etc. for a range of private clients and local authorities.

My client is renowned for looking after their employees and prioritising work-life balance.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have influence over commercial aspects on the project - including the production of valuations, cost value reports, measurements, subcontract procurement and payment, final accounting, cash collections, and production of forecasts (with the site team).

A civil engineering background is essential for this position, due to a wide variety of civil engineering elements on the scheme which include; earthworks, highways, deep drainage, s278’s, footways and culverts.

Criteria:
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant experience
• Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
• Experience working for Regional Contractor
• Experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure schemes

Salary & Package:
• £35,000 per annum
• Car or Car Allowance
• Plus other benefits
