Job description
We are currently seeking a Plant Engineer for our client, a pioneer organisation in battery cell research and battery technology development. The successful candidate will focus on managing the technical aspects of pilot plant and support equipment, including troubleshooting, process development and process improvement.
The Plant Engineer will:
Minimise downtime, lean manufacturing principles and plant reliability.
Collaborate with various departments to maintain mechanical integrity of all plant programs.
Ensure compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements.
Supervise and develop less experienced engineers and technicians.
Review and recommend improvements to procedures and perform troubleshooting on all plant activities.
Validate systems and prepare required documents for all installation proves.
Interface with Engineering departments.
The Plant Engineer will have:
>5 years relevant experience in similar position.
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical / Chemical Engineering, or equivalent qualification. (min 2:1)
Excellent organisational skills to manage, multiple projects and technical information.
Strong communication and reporting skills. Technical engineering report writing skills (in English).
Knowledge of MES, software control systems and facilities management beneficial.
AutoCAD, Inventor, CREO, Simulink, MATLAB, or similar CAD experience.
