DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager, Relay Operations Center (ROC) a large scale 24x7 operations for one of our biggest stakeholders. They work in a cross-functional environment with Carriers, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers and the Retail organizations to determine future demand for transportation resources, and translate the aforementioned into accurate capacity plans. They drive the vision of ROC Operations, facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders (Transportation Carriers/Hubs/Warehouses) and lead resolution of any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.

Key job responsibilities
- Recognizes operational issues and promptly directs them to the relevant team to mitigate any potential impact on project success.
- Designs, develops, deploys and maintains large scale projects.
- Gathers functional requirements and converts those into a realistic, detailed functional specification and project plan.
- Serves as contact point for other Operations Managers.
- Identifies and evaluates potential risks/obstacles with minimal direction from senior managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- A degree
- Relevant experience within a customer service / supply chain / logistics.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
- Experience in quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
