Job description


We are looking for a number of applicants to join us at Wythenshawe in supporting our Booking and Scheduling team based at International House. Therefore it is important that you have excellent customer service skill, computer literate and have the ability to be flexible and able to cope with changing and evolving work environments. The Trust now has a new HIVE computer system throughout all MFT Trusts and understanding of this system (with training) is pivotal to all roles clinical or non clinical within the Trusts.

The radiology department is a 24/7 service therefore the successful candidates will be expected to some weekends on a rota basis for which enhancements will be made along with time off in lieu.

Allocation/arrangement of patient urgent/non urgent appointments via mail or phone in keeping with national and local targets including expediting HSC205 cancer patient’s appointments in keeping with protocol.
Ensuring patients are given appropriate preparation instructions for examination including liaising with wards, medical staff, secretaries etc.
Management of diary appointments ensuring patients are seen within the set waiting times and in chronological order set out in the bookings policy.
