Assistant Headteacher - SENCO (maternity cover)

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Leadership Scale – L10 – L14

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff at The Telford Priory School.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher - SENCO (maternity cover).

The Telford Priory School is a successful, forward-thinking school which maintains high expectations of staff and students.

The successful candidate will:

•          Hold the National Award for SENCO Qualification

•          Be a strong leader, who is committed to providing the highest standards of provision for SEND pupils

•          Teach engaging and challenging lessons that are grounded in cognitive science informed pedagogy

•          Recognise the value of learning beyond the classroom by enhancing the understanding of the world we live in

•          Have the willingness to work with colleagues and reflect upon their practice

The Telford Priory School is currently part of Community Academies Trust, however, we will be moving to the Learning Community Trust on 1st March 2024.
