Medical Writing Scientist

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine discovers and develops innovative medical solutions to address important unmet medical needs in Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Cardiovascular, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Retina.

Within Integrated Data Analytics & Reporting (IDAR), the Regulatory Medical Writing team are recruiting for a Medical Writing Scientist . The Medical Writing Scientist will support one or more of our therapeutic areas. You will join a larger cohort of writers undergoing internal training to author diverse regulatory medical writing documents. Target start date Monday 3rd June 2024 .

This position is open globally and may be in Europe (eg, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria), North America (eg, Spring House, PA, Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ, or Canada), or other countries. Principal Responsibilities:

Regularly meets with manager and mentors and attends departmental meetings. Qualifications & Experience

• A university/college degree in a scientific discipline is the minimum requirement, with an advanced degree (eg, Master's degree, PhD, MD) preferred.

• At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical/scientific experience.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in English .

• Ability to understand, interpret, and summarize scientific or medical data .

• Ability to function in a team environment and to build solid and positive relationships with cross-functional team members .

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Strong time management and project/process management skills.

• Demonstrated learning agility.

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (eg, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• This position will require up to 10% travel.

For United States Applicants:

The anticipated base pay range for this position in USA is $88,000 to $141,450, and the base pay range in in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA is $101,000 to $162,725 .

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
