Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix joinery work associated with major and minor construction work, and other maintenance and refurbishment duties.
- Undertake a range of response maintenance and building work on the full range of Housing Executive properties. There will be minor work outside trade where required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Completed either time served or skills apprenticeship.
- At least 1 years post apprenticeship experience.
- Full current driving licence or access to a form of transport.
- Flexible to provide an emergency call out service on evenings and weekends - rota basis.
- As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
Further Information
About the role:
Hourly Rate: £11.81 per hour.
Location: Belfast.
Hours of Work: 37 hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm & Friday 8.30 am - 4.00 pm.
Holidays: 37 days pro rata.
Duration: Temporary, ongoing.
