The successful candidate will take responsibility, as part of a team, for the Live support, solution delivery and pre-sales activities related to a range of Branch Teller solutions operating at Unisys Financial Services clients, including:
Advises, analyzes, researches, installs, and implements products or complex technology or application solutions for financial institutions.
Provides maintenance and technical support on services/products solutions, utilizing current and emerging technologies.
Provides sales support – helps with preparation of portions of proposals, prepares parts of presentations, and conducts demonstrations.
Generates leads for new business and helps identify follow-on business in client accounts that result in profitable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Delivers Level2 and Level3 software support services to clients, remotely or on a client site
to resolve product use and product operation problems and/or
to address questions relating to enterprise systems and application software that are beyond the scope of the client’s first level help desk support function
to provide referrals to other service providers to ensure that the client’s service level and technical requirements are met
Interacts with clients in person, via electronic messages or by telephone
Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of software products
Applies diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigates causes and recommends solutions to correct failures
Provides alerts and situation status information to both client and Unisys management. Coordinates critical client issues as well as new product and/or system implementations
Conducts root cause analysis of recurring problems for defined projects or major incidents
Prepares, approves and coordinates the implementation of technical documentation and ensures that technical and client documentation is clear, current, accurate and complete
Assumes custodianship responsibility for specialised equipment and documentation hosted at Unisys and used in conjunction with the solution implementation and support
May identify relevant training needs and may conduct training sessions for other analysts and clients as appropriate
May participate in or lead defined projects activities. Initiates process improvements for internal and external clients
May be required to work in rotational shifts (incl. Saturday support) and provide occasional out-of-hours on-call support, if required
Provides product help with pre-sales activities. Gets involved in the preparation and delivery of product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
Helps elicit and captures client requirements against portfolio offerings in the context of exploration of pre-sales opportunities or a client project
Works with client business & technical staff during the requirements definition and implementation to finalise requirements and resolve issues
Identifies opportunities for follow-on business and assists in creating change orders
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Prior exposure, experience and understanding of the Financial Services business domain.
