Purovets is currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic and welcoming team in Nottingham. As a valued member of their well-facilitated small animal practice, you will contribute to maintaining the high standards of care that the practice is known for.

The practice holds RCVS accreditation and is fully equipped with advanced facilities, including a separate operating theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. Additionally, the team has access to an MRI and CT scanner at their orthopaedic referral clinic, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.

Joining a team of four experienced vets, one of whom has a certificate in surgery, you will work alongside a dedicated head nurse, four RVNs, five SVNs, and three patient care assistants. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, such as assisting veterinary surgeons with medical and surgical duties, monitoring anaesthesia, handling patients, and taking on the overall nursing responsibility for in-patients under the direction of the veterinary surgeon. Providing excellent client care on all aspects of the work at the branch will also be a key part of your role.

You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff, including RVNs, SVNs, and Patient Care Assistants. This position offers the opportunity to develop nursing clinics, allowing you to use your initiative to introduce new ideas and contribute to the growth of the practice.

The successful candidate must be RCVS Registered with a genuine commitment to animal welfare. Strong organisational skills, the ability to adhere to practice protocols and procedures, and a proactive approach to your work are essential for success in this role. The Role:
• Full Time role
• 40 hour week
• 1:8 full weekends
