Junior MI / Data Analyst - About the role
A fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and aspiring Data Analyst to be based within a growing MI function of a Lloyd’s Insurance broker who is willing to assist with the design of various management information and drive key efficiencies across the business.
Junior MI / Data Analyst - Key duties
Assist with the extraction, transformation and loading of data from data sources into the database structure.
Support the department with system and reporting processes
Assist with the design and build of various reports
Review and correction of various data
Liaising with key departments to improve data capture efficiency
Producing key month end reports and bordereaux’s
Junior MI / Data Analyst - Key requirements
We are looking for a candidate who is analytical, enjoys problem solving, pays great attention to detail, is flexible, initiative taking and driven.
Ideally insurance related data analyst experience
Knowledge of data related programming languages specifically MS SQL
Knowledge and understanding of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Experience with interactive dashboard design and build advantageous
Strong PowerBI and Excel skills
Strong mathematics background
BA Degree or equivalent qualification
Enthusiastic nature and self-motivating
