A growing SME based in central Fareham is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller and Finance Director with the day to day running of the company’s finances. The role is office based 5 days a week so you must be able to commute daily to Fareham.
The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:-
- Purchase ledger work
- Processing of credit card expenditure and matching to weekly statements
- Preparation and distribution of monthly customer statements
- Internal Aged Debt reporting and credit control process
- Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the Financial Director with monthly statutory returns
The successful candidate is likely to have a number of years experience in a similar accounts role with a good working knowledge of Sage. The company are able to offer study support if required.
