About the role
Join our Development team in Brighton, where you'll lead the development team in managing automated pipelines, introducing innovative solutions, and championing Azure technologies, all while encouraging a culture of productivity and mentorship.
- Creation and management ADO (Azure DevOps) build, release, and deployment pipelines effectively.
- Develop and manage IAC (infrastructure-as-code) solutions.
- Support the adoption of cloud-native Azure, providing expertise in designing, deploying, and optimising products.
- Establish and promote practical DevOps best practices, collaborating across teams for consistency and efficiency.
- Identify, document, and implement improvements in current DevOps pipelines and processes.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers to support their professional growth.
- Generate detailed insights into service health, ensuring stability through metrics reports, efficient log analytics, and strategic alerting.
- Manage and report on the status of business-critical systems and project progress.
- Leverage AAD and B2C to implement zero-trust security solutions.
What are we looking for?
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all business levels.
- In-depth understanding of dotnet technologies (dotnet-core, dotnet-framework, and PowerShell) alongside proficiency in container-based architectures, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and the deployment of large-scale cloud solutions, with a focus on Azure.
- Skilled in Azure’s Container Apps, Functions, and App Service, with hands-on experience in creating, deploying, and managing Docker containers for effective application development and testing.
