Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a deep understanding of listed buildings to join our team in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for historical preservation, coupled with proven project management expertise in overseeing complex restoration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee restoration projects of listed buildings from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Liaise with local authorities, historic preservation organizations, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with planning and conservation regulations.
- Monitor project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and project success.
