About Us:

Our authority provides high quality public services to over a million customers. We build and deliver smart, fast, and cost-effective solutions for both the council and a range of partner organisations. With IT investment of more than £45 million a year we are as business-like, efficient, and successful as any private sector company and have a national reputation for IT excellence, innovation, and value.

The Role:

Your role will be working in a 3rd level development and support team working primarily in Azure Analytics, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and GIS; the team are involved in other information development projects, which include implementing new technologies for Hampshire County Council.

The initial focus of the role is to work closely with team colleagues to support, maintain, and administer the corporate platforms for Microsoft Azure Analytics and Microsoft Power Platform. You will also assist in implementing new projects and will be expected to become involved with wider development platforms and technologies as required.

You will have expert support and advice from your colleagues, and full training in the platforms can be provided.

This role will be based at our Winchester offices, however as part of Hampshire County Council’s Open Workplace Policy, the successful candidate can undertake their work between home and the office (a hybrid approach) depending upon operational requirements, with the majority of their work able to be performed at home if desired.
