Customer Service Representative
Up to £33,000 depending on experience
Working for a global business you will work as part of a fast paced customer service team, previous experience in logistics or supply chain is essential. Fluency in Spanish, French, or Italian is advantageous!
- Deliver outstanding customer service by effectively addressing complex customer requests and proactively following up on deliveries, inquiries, and issues.
- Manage customer, internal, and external relationships while constantly striving to improve customer satisfaction.
- Collate and prepare all relevant documentation for each movement, including Certificates of Analysis, Customs and Shipping invoices, Packing Lists, and Consignment Notes/Delivery Notes.
- Manage and process dispatches of orders to customers using approved EMEA managed warehouse locations.
- Book final dates for orders and maintain system dates to ensure accuracy.
- Complete shipments and invoicing in the relevant ERP system within 48 hours of dispatch.
- Possess knowledge in both import and export (EU and ROW), with diligence and attention to detail in raising appropriate export documentation.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mentality, always seeking ways to enhance customer service, balance costs, and drive excellence.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause, and expediting correction or adjustment.
This role will appeal to customer service candidates with a logistics, supply chain background. We are also looking for candidates able to demonstrate:
- Highly customer-focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good understanding of transport management and warehousing sales processing.
- Ability to manage time well and prioritize work effectively.
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft AX ERP platforms, as well as proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with export principles in Europe and ROW, including export documentation, and import principles into the UK for domestic customers.
- Commercial sales experience and knowledge of export orders.
Salary up to £33,000 DOE
Monday to Friday, full time. 40% working from home (after probation)
