Job description

Veterinary Surgeon - Warwickshire

Purovets are looking for another Veterinary Surgeon to join the expanding team at a long-standing practice with a small but fantastic team and a very loyal client base. Typically this would be a full-time position working 40 hours across 4 days per week with Saturdays on a shared rota, along with no out-of-hours requirements. Understanding that achieving work-life balance is key to bringing out the best in their people, the practice is dedicated to supporting this for their colleagues. Everyone leads multifaceted lives with diverse demands and priorities beyond their careers, and they are passionate about making it effortless for you to strike that perfect balance.

At the practice, you will experience a collaborative setting where your clinical expertise takes the forefront. You will have opportunities to make impactful decisions and manage cases on your own terms. The dedicated nursing and auxiliary team are always on hand to offer support, and their dedication ensures a seamless and efficient workflow, allowing you to focus on delivering the best possible care and outcomes for your patients. You will be working with an amazing team of 2 vets, 5 veterinary nurses and 2 receptionists. They are kitted out with fantastic facilities including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital X-ray facilities, a laser therapy unit, an ultrasound scanner and also a cardiac scanner. They are a supportive team and work together to provide the very best service they can. They are happy to accept applications from less experienced candidates due to the fantastic support system they have in place.

The practice is based in Atherstone, in the county of Warwickshire, meaning they have a beautiful rural setting but also great access to the A5 and close links to the M42. As such, Atherstone has great links across the Midlands with cities like Tamworth, Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham. With great rail links and West Midlands Airport not too far away, the rest of the UK and beyond is easily accessible.
