A prestigious financial organisation is currently recruiting a Head of Tax to join their accomplished Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this influential role involves overseeing all tax reporting and management processes to ensure compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will be integral in identifying opportunities for tax efficiency within the organisation and leading a motivated team.
Responsibilities include managing corporate direct and indirect tax processes, engaging with the business and advisers, and providing oversight of operational taxes. The role also entails fostering constructive relationships with HMRC, overseeing compliance and planning processes, and representing the organisation on external tax-related committees.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in life company taxation, hold a qualification as a Chartered Accountant (preferably CTA), and possess effective leadership skills.
