Banking and Finance Solicitor 50k-60k
Location: Southampton or Bournemouth
Our client is looking for a Banking & Finance Solicitor to join their specialist Banking & Finance Team.
Ideal: Experience at either a city or leading regional practice. Candidates should be commercially focussed and pragmatic in their approach. They should have the ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent client service.
The existing team offers extensive expertise in banking and finance, acting for major financial institutions, including a number of household names. This role offers the opportunity for immediate exposure to high quality work from day one and provides excellent opportunities for career progression.
The ideal candidate will help to support the existing team in offering a high quality client focused service to our extensive client base, and may already have a following and experience in taking an active role in marketing and business development.

The department:
The Corporate & Commercial Team is highly regarded and provides advice across a wide range of business sectors. Clients include individuals and SMEs through to major financial institutions.
They advise on the full remit of legal issues which affect businesses during their lifecycle including in respect of the following practice areas:
- company, limited liability partnership and partnership formations and company secretarial services
- commercial contracts (e.g. supply of goods/services agreements and IT agreements)
- corporate governance & regulation (e.g. advice regarding the Companies Act)
- banking & finance
- corporate transactions (e.g. share/business sales/purchases and investments)
