Are you a seasoned Section Engineer with a passion for excellence in the realm of Civil Engineering? If so, we have an exceptional opening for a dedicated individual to enhance our Site Management team and propel our NI Water projects to new heights.

The ideal Section Engineer we're seeking should possess :

• Significant experience as a Section Engineer
• A strong background in Civil Engineering, with a specific focus on Water projects (highly advantageous)
• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate a collaborative work environment
• Experience with a Main Contractor (highly valued)
• A full driving license (an essential requirement)
• Your daily responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of critical tasks, including:
• Undertaking precise Surveying and Setting Out duties to ensure accuracy in our projects
• Diligently checking drawings and quantities
• Coordinating the scheduling of materials for procurement
• Efficiently planning and organizing site operations to meet established deadlines
• Collaborating with consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project
• Supervising and meticulously monitoring the site labour force while overseeing the work of sub-contractors
• Ensuring strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
• Maintaining comprehensive quality records essential to meet stringent quality standards
• Resolving unexpected technical challenges and addressing other problems that may arise
• Arranging for the testing of materials and the calibration of instruments used
• Maintaining a detailed Site Diary
• Actively engaging with other members of the construction site team to foster a spirit of teamwork
• Liaising with other function and departmental managers
• Introducing innovative solutions and improvements where necessary in your area of responsibility
• Undertaking any other duties as requested by the Site Manager to facilitate the smooth progress of the construction project
