Job description
Head Chef Duties and Responsibilities
· Direct all kitchen operations, including food
preparation, cooking, and clean-up
· Resolve issues as they arise to ensure the
continuation of foodservice
· Make sure that all staff adhere to food safety and
hygiene regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen
· Collaborate with the general manager and owner to
aline kitchen operations.
· Supervise, recruit, train and assists Chef,
Cooks and other kitchen staff as needed.
The
skill, experience, and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in
Indian restaurant as Chef or Head Chef.
- Excellent communication skills
- Exemplary standards of personal hygiene
and presentation.
- The ability to recruit, train and coach
junior team members.
- Ability to make good food consistently, even
in a busy kitchen
- Ability to manage a team of cooks.
- The ability to communicate in a fast-moving
environment
- English language is necessary (minimum IELTS
(academic/general) band score 4.5).
