Essential: This role is Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and is community based.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
As Senior Rehabilitation Assistant you will:
- To carry out rehabilitation of clients in their own homes, day centres, the local environment, including outdoors, and within the therapy centre under the supervision of a qualified therapist.
- To report to an allocated supervisor about treatments undertaken, progress made, outcomes of intervention and to discuss, when necessary, modification of rehabilitation programmes as part of a structured clinical supervision system.
- To carry out planned therapy interventions under the supervision of a qualified therapist for a range of clients.
- To empower clients to take responsibility for self-management during treatment period and following discharge, using knowledge of local resources to facilitate this as appropriate.
- To organise clinical caseload in consultation with colleagues taking into account management of waiting lists and necessary nonclinical duties.
- To assemble and adjust therapeutic equipment and demonstrate to patients / carers to ensure safe use.
- To maintain timely, accurate and concise records of treatment which meet the documentation standards of the service.
- To participate in the locality meetings, staff meetings and in-service training
- To coordinate requests for absence with other Rehabilitation Assistants support workers to ensure that key tasks are covered at all times.
- To adhere to Trust and local policies and procedures.
