Civil Engineer Job in Dicot, Oxfordshire

Civil Engineer job available in Didcot, Oxfordshire, for a reputable multidisciplinary consultancy. You will be working within a team of engineers, working on a variety of projects across the commercial and residential sectors. The role offers a competitive salary plus 25 days holiday.

They are multi-discipline property and construction experts, offering professional advice through all stages of projects with experience across residential, transport, civic, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and many more. They provide services across surveying, development planning & engineering services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Site appraisals, feasibility studies
• Pre-application planning advice, technical support for outline and detailed planning applications and the approval of reserved matters, discharging planning conditions
• Production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments
• Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction
• Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
• Work closely with the land and planning teams
• Support Planning Team.

Required Skills & Experience

• BSc or BEng qualified, ideally with two years in industry working for a consultancy
• Candidates must have a solid consultancy background in Civil Engineering
• An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
• Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience with S106/104).
