Job description

We are looking for a positive and patient person with experience in charity sector fundraising, to really make a huge difference to our very small charity in Ethiopia.

What will you be doing?

As our very small team has limited fundraising knowledge, key responsibilities include:

• Raising funds through corporate, and community as well as exploring new income streams where necessary. 
• Working on the writing and editing of fundraising proposals 
• Market and promote the work of the organisation to a wider audience using well-written and impactful propositions
• Empower supporters to organise and undertake their own fundraising activities.

• Research (qualitative / quantitative)

What difference will you make?

With a very small inexperienced team, your impact will be huge. At the moment fundraising is sporadic and the charity currently relies on the founder's donations to remain buoyant. Though working to build up a fundraising stream there will be a possibility of developing the programmes offered to the pediatric cancer patients and their families in Ethiopia.
