Position Title: 1.4 Learning Support / HLTA Position Details:
PermanentHours – 30 hours per week, including 5 training daysSalary Details: Working 30 hours per week for 38 weeks + 5 training days the pro rata salary would be £19,391.11.Employment Start Date: 1st September, 2024Ysgol Maes Y Felin’s Resource Base is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, empathetic and skilled HLTA to work with learners in our social communication resource. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with pupils in a small setting context within a mainstream school.At Ysgol Maes Y Felin we work to support our pupils to reach their full potential to ‘achieve excellence and exceed expectation’. Training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.Closing Date: Monday 8th April, 2024 at 12.00 noon
As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.Visits to school are strongly recommended by arrangement with the School Secretary, Mrs. D. Dickinson.
As part of the interview process, candidates will be expected to take part in a small group work task. Information about this will be given if you are successful and invited for lesson observation and an interview.
