Who are we?
Hydraquip are the UK’s largest independent onsite hose replacement company, offering a 24/7 365-day service nationwide. We are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to help us expand our client base. This is an office based role, to be based either at our Nottingham Branch (NG7 2PU) or Leicester Branch (LE4 9HR).
The internal sales Executive role is a full time position 8.00am – 4.30pm or 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
A day in the life of an Internal Sales Executive:
The Internal Sales Executive is responsible for maintaining and developing their customer portfolio, with a keen focus on account management, to capitalise on customer relationships, follow-up leads, and maximise the potential for growth of the Hydraquip business.
Your role will also consist of:
Sales
- Maintain the customer relationship management system
- Ensure that our product/service offering is maximised to existing customers
- Assist with maintenance and further development of the sales and marketing plan to develop the customer base
- Manage the region-wide lead generation process with mobile engineers
- Promote company initiatives and special offers to increase sales
Administration
- Plan and organise daily to ensure that all calls are correctly logged, and ready for a follow-up, and a weekly sales plan with priorities, goals, and achievements can be formulated.
Key measures & targets:
- Manage a customer portfolio in an ever-changing environment, with a focus on selling the mobile service operation
- Build a pipeline of opportunities for new business, negotiate and close those sales opportunities to ensure sales targets are met
- Ensure customer feedback is sought and captured on a timely basis
- Create new accounts through the lead to the sales cycle
- Making outbound calls to identify and engage with existing and new potential customers
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify new opportunity for business growth.
Who we are looking for:
You will need a hands-on, customer focused approach and be confident and happy to support the team where required counter and proactively engage with colleagues and other departments within the business.
You must also:
- Have previous experience within a sales role
- Have excellent telephone communications skills with the confidence and ability to speak with customers and build rapport and create sales opportunities
- Have the ability to juggle several activities, with meticulous organisation skills
- Be able to effectively prioritise in order to deliver results
- Have strong commercial awareness
- Be experienced in using a sales CRM system
- Be a team player that can help motivate and inspire work colleagues to deliver the same standards and instil a desire to achieve Company objectives.
Whilst not essential, previous experience as a Sales Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Customer Service Executive or similar positions would be an advantage.
