Line Manager: Group Trading Manager

Key Relationships: Marketing Services Team; Customer Experience Team; Product & Innovation Team; PBH Manufacturing; Group Operations Director; Senior Digital Marketing Manager; NBB Sales Manager; Data & Analytics Manager; Business Development Team.

Main Purpose

This role leads the product marketing and core trading activity across Shelters and Furniture business units and products to meet and exceed ambitious commercial growth targets through proactive ownership, marketing management and development across the 4 P’s of the core marketing mix.

Established in 1993, Poole Bay Holdings extensive product range includes; Hot/Cold Therapy, First Aid Supplies and Fire/Safety Signs to Outdoor Furniture, Cycle Racks/Shelters and Parking Products. Based in beautiful Poole, Dorset with 100,000 square feet of warehouse, factory and office space, we employ a team of over 200 fantastic people. Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications Essential / Desirable

1 A relevant CIM marketing qualification, marketing degree or equivalent marketing experience. E

Skills

2 Strong commercial drive and ability to consistently recommend and act on new ideas to increase growth across relevant business units and products. E

3 Ability to devise and deliver product based direct marketing strategies commensurate with KPIs and objectives E

4 Ability to undertake research and write high quality marketing material. E

5 Ability to gather, manipulate and analyse data in order to inform decisions. E

6 Ability to work at pace, under pressure to meet tight deadlines. E

7 Sound, objective judgement with the confidence to make key commercial decisions and report on results. E

9 Interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong working relationships, with positive hands-on leadership by example. E

10 Adaptability and the willingness to be flexible in a dynamic working environment. E

11 Ability to lead others in maximising value-added output and efficiency E

12 Strong and positive communication skills. E

13 Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in delivering work. E

14 High level of IT proficiency, including MS Office (inc. Excel) and other tools such as Business Objects and Power BI. E

15 Confidence to report strategically on commercial results and lead commercial debate. E

16 Experience of managing direct report(s) E

17 Detailed commercial knowledge of product and direct marketing concepts. E

18 Relevant, deep knowledge of first aid products and markets. D
