Job description

We are currently assisting this dealership in Huddersfield with the recruitment of various Vehicle Technicians including Prep Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, and MOT Testers.

You will need to be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, and ideally have experience gained within a dealership environment. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Duties include:

• Diagnose vehicle faults, carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturers’ guidelines
• Repair and replace parts and components
• Advise the Service Receptionists about required repairs, and liaise with other members of the Service Department
• Maintain repair and service records
• MOT Testing and general servicing

You must be a team player with a high level of communication skills to ensure a smooth flow in the workshop. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic Motor Group.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with Saturday Mornings on a rota, paid as overtime.

Salary: Ranges dependant on the level of experience/qualifications; £25,500 – £37,000 plus overtime and realistic bonus of £4200 per year.
