Job Description
- Managing the team
- Pro-actively initiating change & driving forward process improvements, within & across departments
- Leading in management of UK tax
- Leading on systems replacement & key IT projects from finance perspective
- Delivery of reporting accurate / timely IFRS reporting
- Ownership of reporting to parent Co. for consolidation
- Deputise for Head of Finance / Commercial Controller as required
- Ensuring delivery of stat accounts
- Ownership of general ledger
- Supplier management e.g., GL Software / Banks / External audit
- Identifying and delivering process improvements & automation
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Controller should have:
- A strong academic background in finance or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
