Salary: £75.00 – £95.00 per day

GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking an empathetic and skilled
Autism Practitioner for one of our SEN client schools located in
Lincoln.
The school is looking for someone who has excellent child management capabilities.
Responsibilities may include: - Collaborating with teachers, special education coordinators, and parents to develop and implement personalized individualized education plans for students with autism.
- Creating specific goals and objectives to address communication, social interaction, and behaviour management.
- Conducting behavioural assessments and implementing behaviour modification strategies.
- Organizing and facilitating social skills groups or individual sessions to improve interpersonal relationships and interactions.
- Being able to respond appropriately in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
Requirements for the role: - Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
- Strong understanding of ASD and evidence-based interventions.
- Have great communication with both pupils and teachers.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or special needs is highly preferable.
