A&P Falmouth are looking for self-motivated, dynamic professional to join our I.T. Department as I.T. Support Engineer at our operations in Falmouth, Cornwall
We are looking for someone to fill this vital role in maintaining the IT infrastructure and supporting our colleagues in Falmouth and across multiple sites.
You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues and will provide effective and efficient solutions to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted workflow.
With an ‘all of one' company approach with locations in the North East, Falmouth, North West and Australia, we need to operate as a true global entity.
IT streamline communication across locations, directly enhancing efficiency and productivity and successes as we continue to grow and succeed together.
So what will you do as IT Support Engineer at A&P Falmouth?
- You'll be the first point of contact for colleagues who have technical issues and are looking for a quick resolution to keep them working so you'll respond to IT support requests via our ticketing system, email, phone, or in-person and provide assistance and training on IT best practice and procedures.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobiles you'll reset passwords, install software, and do what you can to enhance user experience. As well as keeping an eye on network performance, figure out what's happening with connectivity issues and if you need to.
- Routinely you'll check and update systems to maintain stability and security.
- Assisting onboarding & offboarding of employees, you'll be setting up accounts and access permissions, ensuring an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Working with the IT Manager and the wider APCL Team on projects, ranging from simple network expansion to complex datacentre integration work, and everything in between.

- Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common business software.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
