Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing Solutions Officer (Gr G). In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families who are experiencing housing difficulties. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop appropriate housing solutions. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' housing needs
Develop and implement personalized housing plans for clients
Provide information and assistance to clients regarding available housing options
Collaborate with housing providers and landlords to secure suitable housing for clients
Assist clients in accessing housing grants and subsidies
Advocate for clients to ensure they receive the necessary support and resources
Monitor clients' progress and provide ongoing support as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Previous experience working in a housing support role
Knowledge of community resources and housing programs
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £18.95
Location: Kingston Upon Thames, South West London
